For the third year running people putting money aside for their pensions has dropped.  

There were 3 million contributors last year and it’s now down to 2.9.  

Does this mean that people are now looking for alteranative ways of making provisions for their retirement?

It’s been said that over the last decade the number of people contributing to a pension has halved.
